EDDIE OATES

DIRECTOR OF TENNIS

A tennis professional for more that 20 years, Eddie Oates is thrilled to be building a successful program here at RidgePointe.  He has a great deal of experience from which to draw, having caoched a number of nationally-ranked tennis teams and served as director of tennis for extended periods of time at two large country clubs.  Oates is a certified pro 1 with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and also holds certification as a referee with that organization.

VANESSA ROPER

PROFESSIONAL TRAINER

Born and raised in South Africa, Vanessa Roper arrived in Jonesboro 20 years ago on an Arkansas State University tennis scholarship and never left.  As both a tennis pro and a certified professional trainer, she brings a unique combination of skills to the position of assistant pro.  Roper holds a master of science degree in education with empahsis on exercise science and is certified by the USPTA, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the NSCA.  Please see Vanessa for all of your personal training needs.
