David Landkamer
Executive Chef

 

Born in Casablanca Morocco, raised in Baldwin Kansas, David worked for the University of Kansas for 10 years, starting in the dish room and working up to head cook for McCollum Hall.

At the age of 23 David began his four year tenure as an apprentice. He then moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and worked for two years at the Potted Steer as Executive Chef.

David and his wife Josie,  moved to Asia for the 10 years working  for hotels and private restaurants in Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines & Mainland China where they had their son Spencer.

Most recently Chef David participated in a national recipe contest in New York City where he took home first place in his category. The winning recipe of, Scallops with Lapsung Souchong Tea. This winning recipe is now a nationally published recipe that is sold in university bookstores throughout the nation.
