Deane Pappas

Deane was born in Phalaborwa, South Africa.  As well as being an All-American at the University of Arkansas his name is also in the U of A’s hall of honor.  Between 1996 and 2007 he played 3 years on the PGA Tour and also won 2 events on the tour in 2000 and 2001.  He has two tournament wins in South Africa, the 2001 South African PGA championship and the 2009 Dimension Data pro-am.  More recently Deane has become successful teaching junior golfers at his academy in Fayetteville.

His brothers are also successful in the golf business with brother Craigen being the director of Golf at the Country Club at Muirfield Village and Brendan has just retired from 10 years of PGA Tour golf.  In 2001 Deane and Brendan became the first brothers to simultaneously graduate to the PGA Tour by finishing in the top 15 on the Tour.
